Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Beauport Hotel Gloucester was a delightful experience. the hotel's commitment to ensuring equal access for guests with disabilities was commendable and added to the overall inclusive atmosphere of the property. From the warm welcome drink upon arrival to the attentive housekeeping and room service, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time at the hotel fully. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the 1606 Restaurant & Bar. the elegant decor, featuring mahogany woodwork and nautical artwork, combined with the delicious Modern American cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Jonathan Mckechnie and his team, provided a truly exquisite dining experience. the East Coast oysters and Nova Scotia halibut were particularly outstanding, showcasing the fresh local ingredients and culinary expertise of the kitchen. The hotel's convenient location, just a short walk from downtown Gloucester, allowed me to explore the charming shops and restaurants in the area easily. Overall, Beauport Hotel Gloucester exuded New England coastal elegance and provided a relaxing environment for both leisure and business travelers. the combination of gracious service, world-class amenities, and stunning oceanfront views made it a place I will certainly return to in the future, perhaps with my family for a memorable vacation experience.
